How do I open the files I downloaded?

The first thing you will need to do is extract the files from the zip folder.

To do that one way is to open the folder and drag the internal folder and drag it to where you want to use it from. 

The second way is to right click on the folder and go down to "Extract All". Then a window will open up and you can select the location you want the folder to go.
